Those are all great choices, and Wembanyama has been lucky enough to play against a couple of these players.
He has definitely given both Curry and James headaches during his two years in the league.
It’s interesting to see him choose Duncan, considering he’s one of the most legendary Spurs players ever.
Wembanyama has surely modeled his game after Duncan’s in a lot of ways, beyond just the fact that they played for the same team.
O’Neal might be someone whom Wembanyama looks up to more now, because he is seemingly changing the way he approaches games.
He is becoming more forceful and using his body as a weapon at times during preseason games.
It looks like he isn’t afraid to get physical, much like O’Neal was during his years in the league.
If Wembanyama is becoming more powerful during games, that could be a huge problem for all of his opponents.
He was already a massive threat, but an added level of aggression could improve things for his Spurs.
These five NBA stars have changed the league, and they have all left a lasting impression on countless players and fans.
Wembanyama admires them all and would someday like to be in the history books like them.
