On Thursday night, Week 7 of the NFL regular season will kick off as a battle between retirement community quarterbacks will take place.
It will be Joe Flacco and his new Cincinnati Bengals up against Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. We joke about the age of the quarterbacks, but this game is vital to many, including the head coach on the sidelines in Cincinnati.

The NFL has already seen one head coach receive his pink slip. Former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan was relieved of his duties after Week 6.
So, who will be the next coach to join him on the unemployment line? Here are the coaches on the hot seat heading into Week 7.

I didn’t really expect Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel to still have his job after quarterback Tua Tagovailoa called out the leadership in the franchise after their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The writing is on the wall; a loss to the Cleveland Browns this week will all but be the final nail in his coaching coffin.
Zac Taylor

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has been an interesting case. At his best with the franchise, the Bengals have been a Super Bowl-caliber team. However, without quarterback Joe Burrow, the Bengals have been a basement dweller.

Sure, losing a player like Burrow would make any coach look worse. But Taylor may want a clean slate away from Cincinnati, because Burrow may never be healthy.
Kevin Stefanski
Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski walks the sideline during a game against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 21, 2025, in Cleveland.
The loser of the game between the Dolphins and the Browns will more than likely be looking for a new head coach. However, both teams may still make the change.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is another coach who has been put in a tough situation. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feel like the situation can be fixed.

Under head coach Jonathan Gannon, the Arizona Cardinals have yet to have a winning season. Now in his third season as the head coach, Gannon’s squad is on the path to once again having a losing record.
A loss to the Green Bay Packers could be the curtain call for Gannon’s time with the franchise.
