The Los Angeles Rams, much like the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC, are experiencing a shocking amount of success this season behind the arm of a veteran quarterback. Matthew Stafford has the Rams humming, as he looks to lead the franchise to another Super Bowl victory before he ultimately calls it a career and steps away from the game.
Unfortunately, Stafford’s top target, emerging superstar Puka Nacua, left the Rams’ last game with an ankle injury. Now, it’s becoming increasingly likely that Nacua won’t be able to go this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Puka in a walking boot is the final boss of my fantasy season. Just wrap the ankle in bubble wrap and keep him out of practice. We need him Sunday,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Tough break for Puka and the Rams right after that gritty win over Baltimore. Although, the day-to-day label is encouraging, especially with the bye looming next week, it’s smart to play it safe before flying to London,” one fan added.
“There needs to be more transparency with injuries. They said Bucky Irving had a chance to play the week after he got injured. Yet he’s been out for 3 weeks now and there is no timetable for his return,” someone else added.
It’ll be interesting to see when Nacua can return to the field.
