Anthony Edwards hilariously tells Shams Charania ‘Send me a message’ if Timberwolves star is…

In less than one week, the NBA season will officially begin. The quest for an NBA championship is on every player’s mind, including Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards.

The Timberwolves have made the Western Conference Finals in two straight seasons. However, the team is still seeking their first NBA Finals appearance.

The front office and the fanbase feel Edwards is the star to finally get the franchise over the hump. But we know how this league works. Franchise players are traded all the time.

During the first annual ‘Believe That Awards‘, the Timberwolves star had a chance to speak with NBA insider Shams Charania. During their conversation, Edwards had a hilarious interaction with Charania over the hypothetical event that he is ever traded.

"If I'm going to get traded, you better fu*king text me. Don’t leak that sh*t on Twitter — or X, or whatever. Send me a message. Let me know.” pic.twitter.com/GPjmeWT35c

While using a PG tone, basically, Edwards told Charania to tell him firsthand if a trade ever involves the Minnesota star.

The Timberwolves probably have no interest in trading Edwards. Notice how I used probably. However, this is a business. If the franchise ever feels that they can get better by moving Edwards, then I guess it is possible. Just ask Edwards’ former teammate Karl-Anthony Towns about loyalty.
