Cleveland Browns Film Room: Isaiah Bond Creates Opportunities for Big Plays

The Cleveland Browns passing offense is one of the worst in the NFL, but there is some hope for a spark, and that's getting rookie wideout Isaiah Bond more involved. The 21-year-old is playing a high number of snaps, but there are still plenty of yards left on the field, and the Browns need to start taking advantage of that.

Bond came into the league extremely raw as a wide receiver, winning in college because of his vastly superior speed and quickness rather than with technique. He's certainly made significant strides since joining the team, but still has a long way to go, as evidenced by his red zone debacle last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where Dillon Gabriel's pass bounced off of Bond's helmet on a slant route because he wasn't looking for the ball yet.

Despite his inexperience and inconsistency, Bond is still an elite athlete, and that is allowing him to get open for big gains, but the Browns haven't been able to capitalize on that just yet.
