The Los Angeles Dodgers are up 2-0 in their National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Bucks, and they did that with barely any contribution from their best player.
Two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani has been terrible at the plate in the NLCS. His struggles isn’t isolated against the Brewers. Since the postseason started, the reigning National League Most Valuable Player has hit just .147/.275/.324 with two home runs and 16 strikeouts across 40 plate appearances.

Looking to shake off his rusty form in the playoffs, the three-time Most Valuable Player surprised everyone when he took batting practice on the field at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday, as LA prepares for Game 3. It was something that he rarely does, so seeing him take some swings in the batting cages definitely caught people’s attention.

Well well well, look who’s taking the field for a little BP 👀
Dodgers players and Dave Roberts all hung around for Shohei Ohtani to come out and take a few swings, something that is very rare and got everyone that is still out here all fired up
The Dodgers are loaded with talent, but they still need Ohtani to start showing signs of life at the plate to further make things harder for the Brewers to stage a series comeback.
