Man City vs Everton: Kick-off time, how to watch, stats, team news

Oct 16, 2025, 11:36 AM

Open Extended Reactions

Manchester City's first Premier League fixture after the October international break is up against Everton at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's team will look for a consistent winning run after losing two games in the first seven matches of the season so far. They are fifth in the table with 13 points to their name.

The big concern, in terms of injury, is Rodri who is set to miss this match after a hamstring problem he sustained in their match against Brentford. However, he should be back in contention from next week onwards.

Erling Haaland has been in tremendous form as he leads the Premier League goal-scoring charts with nine goals from seven matches. He continued his scoring touch in internationals as well as he netted a hat trick in a 5-0 World Cup qualification match against Israel.

Meanwhile for Everton, the two big misses are Jack Grealish and Michael Keane. Grealish's form has been fundamental to Everton's positive start but he will be missing the game due to rules that prohibit him from facing his parent club.

David Moyes' team is eighth with 11 points from seven games.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of Saturday's match.
