Timothee Chalamet’s run as the most popular man in pop culture has continued as he was recently awarded “White Boy of the Year” by Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony Edwards on his Believe That Awards show.
Chalamet — who is coming off of a Best Actor nomination for A Complete Unknown and will likely get another one next year for Marty Supreme — appeared on the Believe That podcast live from Budapest, where he and his recently-buzzed head are shooting Dune: Part Three, the trilogy-capping film in Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed sci-fi trilogy.
In addition to his revered film work, Chalamet has also been racking up general cultural cache through his vocal pursuit of greatness, his genuine sports fandom — particularly when it comes to the New York Knicks — and the fact that he’s dating Kylie Jenner, thus leading to his winning the White Boy of the Year.

During his appearance on the Believe That Awards, in addition to confirming that he’s in Budapest, Hungary shooting Dune: Part Three, Chalamet revealed that his favorite movies are Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight and Michael Mann’s Heat.
Chalamet’s latest film Marty Supreme, which premiered at the New York Film Festival earlier this month to rave reviews, will hit movie theaters in the United States on Christmas Day.
In addition to the two-time Oscar-nominated Chalamet, the Josh Safdie-directed Marty Supreme also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher. You can check out the official trailer for the film below.
