It’s a beautiful sight.
The greatest receiver in Buccaneers history is back on the practice fields today at One Buc Palace, his first time since exiting the Bucs-Jets game with a hamstring injury on Sept. 22.
Evans has 14 catches this season in three games, good for 140 yards and 1 touchdown. He needs 860 more yards this year to become the first receiver in NFL history with 12 consecutive seasons of 1,000 yards receiving.
An official injury report will be released later. It is sure to show Evans as “limited” in practice today.
The Bucs’ next game is in Detroit on Monday night. Just the presence of Evans on the field Monday would go a long way toward keeping the very average Lions’ defense from putting a ton of stress on less experienced Bucs receivers.
