Aaron Rodgers has a 13-6 career record on Thursday Night Football

Thursday Night Football in Week 7 will see the NFL’s two oldest quarterbacks duel in prime time when Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1) visit Joe Flacco and the Cincinnati Bengals (2-4).

The Bengals have struggled since losing star quarterback Joe Burrow to injury in Week 2 and have lost four in a row, while the Steelers are one of four NFL teams with one loss through Week 6.

The matchup comes after Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin criticized the Cleveland Browns brass for trading Flacco to Cincinnati last week. Let’s get into our three best bets for the game.

Chase Brown Under 64.5 Rush + Receiving Yards (-114)

After a massive 2024 season that saw Brown record 1,350 total yards and 11 touchdowns, the third-year back has regressed massively in 2025 behind a poor Bengals offensive line.

Cincinnati ranks last in the NFL in rushing yards per game (56.7), with the next-worst team more than 25 yards better (Tennessee Titans, 81.8).

Brown has cleared this number just twice in six games this season, so I expect him to go under 64.5 rushing and receiving yards against a strong Steelers defensive front.

Ja'Marr Chase has 25 catches for 277 yards and 3 TD in four games without Joe Burrow this season

Ja’Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown (+140)

Losing Burrow meant Chase won’t repeat as the triple crown winner, but it doesn’t mean he can’t put up huge numbers in any given game.

In his first game with Flacco last week, Chase caught 10 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Flacco knows that targeting Chase is the Bengals’ best chance of moving the ball down the field.

Instead of going for Chase’s receptions or yards props, I’m looking at this plus-money price for arguably the NFL’s best wide out to find the end zone.

Kenneth Gainwell Over 2.5 Receptions (-139)

Gainwell was dubbed an “absolute baller” by Rodgers after Pittsburgh’s Week 4 win over the Vikings in Dublin, and the veteran quarterback showed appreciation for his new running back by targeting him 12 times over his last two games, all 12 of which Gainwell caught.

Jaylen Warren’s return from injury in Week 6 saw Gainwell’s rushing numbers dip, but not his receiving. I expect Gainwell to post 3+ receptions for the fifth time this season.
