NBCU’s Peacock and Apple’s newly branded Apple TV are teaming up to provide subscribers with a price-discounted bundle. Launching on October 20, Apple TV+ and Peacock's upcoming deal will provide customers with access to original productions from both streaming platforms, including the NBA's upcoming season, which marks the return of pro basketball to NBCU for the first time in over two decades.
Like most streaming services, the Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle will be available at multiple price points. Per Variety, subscribers can save up to 37% by subscribing to the ad-inclusive tier at $14.99 per month, while the limited ad tier, titled "Plus," will be priced at $19.99 a month. Those interested in either bundle can find more information on Apple TV's and Peacock's websites.
Those who wish to subscribe to either platform will continue to be able to do so, too. However, this new deal involves giving Apple TV and Peacock subscribers the chance to sample each streamer's original productions too, with both streaming companies looking to entice consumers into purchasing the bundle.
