The Green Bay Packers started off the 2025 NFL season with dominant wins over both the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders. After winning those games the way they did, many felt that the Packers were a top-tier Super Bowl contender.
Since those two wins, Green Bay has lost to the Cleveland Browns, tied with the Dallas Cowboys, and struggled to pull out a win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Those games have caused reason to pause the hype about Super Bowl contention.
Despite the concerns surrounding the Packers over the last few weeks, the team is still one of the best in the NFL. They currently hold first place in the NFC North division race and would be the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoff picture if the season ended today. Green Bay is still in a very good place.
With that in mind, legendary quarterback Tom Brady spoke out with his thoughts on the current makeup of the NFL. Where does he think the Packers rank among all teams in the league through six weeks?
As shared by Fox Sports: NFL on X, Brady believes that Green Bay is currently the third-best team in the NFL. He has them ranked behind the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brady’s opinion carries quite a bit of weight. He is one of the best players to ever play in the NFL. Clearly, he’s not too concerned about the recent struggles the Packers have been going through.
At the end of the day, Green Bay is 3-1-1. The team has only lost one game and despite struggling against the Bengals still found a way to pull out a nine-point win. There is no reason to panic about the Packers.
Jordan Love and the offense has shown major potential. Green Bay has made big play after big play in the passing game. Josh Jacobs has yet to get firing on all cylinders like he was last season, but he’s still one of the top running backs in the league.
Defensively, the addition of Micah Parsons has given the Packers one of the most talented pass rushes in the NFL. There are some concerns at the cornerback position, but the roster has a chance to be an elite defensive unit.
It will be interesting to see how Green Bay looks in Week 7 on the road against an underrated Arizona Cardinals team. Hopefully, the Packers will be able to get back to playing the dominant brand of football they showed during the first two games of the 2025 season.
