Disguised as an awkward nature photographer named Darius Frost, Jefferson showed up at the Vikings’ TCO Performance Center with a mission. He was tasked with taking new headshots for Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, and somehow, the man who handed him a $140 million deal didn’t recognize him.

That’s the whole premise, and it actually works. Jefferson committed to the bit completely.
He threw out lines like, “Did you know the Minnesota state bird is the common loon?” and, “Sorry, Mr. Kwesi, I’m not really familiar with football — what exactly do you do here?”

At one point, he even asked Adofo-Mensah to pose like a Viking. The GM politely declined.
What makes it genuinely funny is how long it takes for the reveal. Even when Frost mentioned being a big Justin Jefferson fan, Adofo-Mensah stayed oblivious. Standing face to face, the realization finally hit him. His reaction makes the whole interaction feel authentic, not rehearsed.

The full 28-minute episode takes things further. Justin Jefferson goes undercover to photograph a flag football game before dropping the disguise and showcasing his actual skills. Head coach Kevin O’Connell even makes a cameo, adding another layer to the entertainment.
It’s refreshing seeing athletes step outside the typical routine and embrace these kinds of moments. For NFL fans already devoted to Jefferson, this undercover act just adds another reason to appreciate him.
The prank works because Jefferson sells it, and that reveal is worth the wait.
