The Denver Broncos have won three games in a row and are on a roll, with the New York Giants up next at home.
While the Broncos have been winning, there has been some concern about the performance of quarterback Bo Nix, who hasn’t taken the step forward many expected in his second season.
“Bo Nix has quietly been one of the worst QBs in the NFL this season,” Dataroma wrote on X.
Bo Nix has quietly been one of the worst QBs in the NFL this season:
+ 6.20 yards per attempt (26th/33 QBs)
+ 5.85 ANY/A (21st)
+ -0.3% completion % over expected (28th)
+ 18.4% off target throw rate (27th)
(Per @FantasyPtsData)
Nix>Maye claims were crazy talk.

According to Fantasy Points Data, Nix is 26th in the NFL at 6.2 yards per attempt, is 28th with a minus-0.3 percent completion rate over expected, and is 27th with an 18.4 percent off-target throw rate.
The counting stats have been fine, as he has 10 total touchdowns and four interceptions while taking just six sacks, but if you look a bit deeper, he has left much to be desired.
Some may argue that stats can be cherry-picked and Nix is doing a solid job executing the offense the way it is designed to be run.
But this is something to keep an eye on as the season progresses to see if it’s just a small sample size, or if Nix does have some issues he needs to clean up.
Denver has been running the ball as well as any team in the NFL, and the defense ranks second in the league in points allowed, so if Nix has been underperforming, it hasn’t been enough to derail his team.
Hopefully, he will improve over the coming weeks as the Broncos are set to face some weaker defenses.
