Seahawks' injury report has some encouraging developments

The Seattle Seahawks’ practice report on Thursday featured some encouraging developments.

Stacy Rost: 2 numbers for Seahawks to beat Texans

Two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) and veteran safety Julian Love (hamstring) were both limited participants in practice after missing each of the past two games. That’s a step forward from last week, when both players sat out the first two practices of the week.

Also, cornerback Riq Woolen (concussion) was a full participant in practice after missing Sunday’s Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Outside linebacker Derick Hall (oblique) sat out practice again after missing Sunday’s game. He hasn’t practiced since getting hurt in Seattle’s Week 5 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said last week that Hall was “week to week.”

Defensive tackle Jarran Reed (knee) was a full participant after getting hurt in Sunday’s game. Cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett (hamstring) was a limited participant.

Veterans swing tackle Josh Jones (ankle) returned to practice as a limited participant after sitting out the past three weeks.
