Aaron Rodgers could not contain his anger after being bundled to the ground by a teammate as he celebrated a go-ahead touchdown late in the Pittsburgh Steelers' dramatic loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rodgers and new Bengals QB Joe Flacco, both in their 40s, rolled back the years and produced a thrilling battle at Paycor Stadium. Flacco was traded last week to Cincinnati by AFC North rivals, the Cleveland Browns, much to the chagrin of Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

Super Bowl winners Rodgers and Flacco traded blows from start to finish, and Rodgers thought he had done enough to clinch victory when he produced some vintage magic to escape the rush and unleash a 68-yard touchdown pass to Pat Freiermuth. That put the Steelers 31-30 ahead, just moments after Rodgers raged at teammate Jaylen Warren over a botched play.

Rodgers bounced towards the sideline in celebration after connecting with Freiermuth for what appeared to be the game-winning score.
But his joy was abruptly curtailed by third-year offensive tackle Broderick Jones, who jumped on his quarterback and brought him to the ground.
To say Rodgers, who is two years removed from a ruptured Achilles tendon that threatened to end his career, was unimpressed by his teammate's clumsiness would be an understatement.

Rodgers gingerly got back to his feet before shoving Jones and appearing to tell the former first-round pick to "get the f--- off me."
Things would get worse for Rodgers and the Steelers, with Flacco showing tremendous poise to piece together a game-winning drive, which was made possible by a clutch throw to Tee Higgins in the redzone.
Higgins smartly slid down rather than running into the endzone, enabling Evan McPherson to clinch the win with a 36-yard field goal with seven seconds remaining.
The Bengals' playoff hopes appeared to be fading fast with Joe Burrow sidelined with a turf toe injury, and backup Jake Browning struggling in the starting role. But Thursday's win keeps them in the hunt for the division title, improving to 3-4 on the year.

The Steelers, meanwhile, are ruing a blown opportunity to tighten their grip on the top spot in the division. Rodgers and company fell to 4-2 on the year.

Steelers HC Tomlin lamented a clumsy performance. He said: “The first half, we allowed them to run the ball too much. They had about 100 yards rushing at the half, and then we turned the ball over a couple times, and so that just kind of set a negative trajectory, and we’re fighting uphill the rest of the way.
"I certainly appreciate the fight. But man, we got to be cleaner. We got to be better. And we weren’t tonight. And that’s life in this business. We certainly got to learn from it, man, and keep pushing.”
