Jack Grealish wasn't part of the England squad that qualified for the World Cup this week - instead he watched on from afar while soaking up some Autumnal sun at an Irish bar in Dubai.

Jack Grealish got over being overlooked by the Three Lions by spending time in an Irish bar in Dubai as England secured their World Cup spot.

The Everton midfielder - on loan from Manchester City - was left out of Thomas Tuchel’s latest squad despite a fine start to the season. He has scored once and got four assists in seven games for the Toffees, who sit seventh in the table.

The 30-year-old Premier League star was seen in McGettigan’s, Jumeirah Lake Towers, in the sun-drenched Emirate last weekend. England beat Wales 3-0 in a friendly at Wembley last Thursday (9 October).

They followed it up with a 5-0 victory over Latvia in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday (14 October) to book their place in the tournament next summer. A McGettigan’s spokesperson said: “Great to have Jack Grealish with us at McGettigan’s JLT over the weekend.”

He posed up with general manager Timothy Hughes, as reported by NeedToKnow. He also had selfies with footy fans and played with some of the customers' kids.

The £300,000-a-week ace even put his hand in his pocket to treat other punters. The 30-year-old - Premier League Player of the Month for August - has failed to make an appearance under German gaffer Tuchel.

Grealish last played for the Three Lions under Lee Carsley in the Nations League - scoring against Finland in a three-one victory in Helsinki.

Grealish has been capped 39 times for England and has scored four goals. He dropped down the pecking order at City after being part of their treble-winning side in 2022/24.

The star signed for the Manchester club from Aston Villa for £100m in 2021. Grealish also headed to Dubai in March this year after being left out of the national squad.
