"No controversial decisions!" in U11 linesman stint for Iraola

ANDONI Iraola said he was ‘perfect’ when running the line for his daughter’s football game two weeks ago – and admitted it was ‘definitely’ his time to do it!

The boss received praise for supporting the grassroots game when he was pictured running the line at a game between Merley FC and Lilliput the Saturday after the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) defeated Fulham.

Asked if his experience on the officiating team would make him kinder with the officials in the Premier League, Iraola laughed and said: “I'm very kind with the officials every time!”

He continued: “I have a daughter that plays football and normally the lines, they go rotating. And normally I never go to the games because I cannot because I'm with my team and my wife goes.

“My wife normally doesn't do it because she doesn't have a clue about the offside and these things.

“So we played Friday, I could go at least once to watch my daughter and it was definitely my time to do it and I was very, very happy also to be able at least to watch her game.”

Asked if he was any good at running the line, Iraola joked: “I think I was perfect. No controversial decisions!”
