It’s our second of three Subway League Cup group games. Jeglertz’s side will be looking to make it two wins from two following our 3-1 triumph over Everton in September.
We travel to WSL2 side Newcastle United on Sunday 19 October, with kick-off at Gateshead International Stadium scheduled for 14:00 (UK).
The Magpies have had a mixed start to the season which sees them sit ninth in the league table. And following their 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest in their first Subway League Cup group game, they’ll be looking to put on a more positive performance against City.
Ahead of the cup clash, Jeglertz will provide a team news update as well as his thoughts on this weekend’s opponent.
