Rodri will miss the visit of Everton after suffering an injury against in the 1-0 victory against Brentford, but Omar Marmoush and Rayan Ait-Nouri could return to the squad.
“They trained yesterday and are much better,” Pep Guardiola said at Friday's press conference.
“They’re close to being back.”
Erling Haaland, meanwhile, is in a rich vein of form and scored a hat-trick for Norway in heir 5-0 win against Israel.
“He feels really good, performance level not just in goals but many things.
“Always what I said is it’ll drop, it’s impossible to stay there but we have this passion to help the team, and sustain in the bad moments.
