David Moyes should start Charly Alcaraz against Manchester City tomorrow afternoon.
The Toffees will be without star player Grealish as he is ineligible to feature against his parent club.
The 30-year-old has been superb for the Blues this season, and will be a huge miss for Moyes.
Indeed, the England international already has four assists, and opened his Everton account with the winner against Crystal Palace.
His absence will force Moyes to rethink his attack, as he stated in today’s pre-match press conference.
The Scot said: “Jack will be a miss for us because he has played so well. We will rejig, get ready, and get ready to go.”
GREALISH A BIG MISS, BUT ALCARAZ CAN SEIZE OPPORTUNITY
No Doubt the Everton boss will already know who will start in Grealish’s place, but for me it should be Charly Alcaraz.
The Argentine was outstanding in the 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, and indeed changed the game when he came on.
It was a fairly listless opening half for Everton, but the 22-year-old added drive and energy to the game.
He was a threat from the moment he stepped onto the pitch and was unlucky not to score a stunning strike from a tight angle.
Indeed, his goals were instrumental in the decent second half to the campaign last season following his loan in January.
On his first start for the club, he bagged a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win at Selhurst Park last February.
The former Southampton player also scored the winning goal in the 1-0 win at St James’ Park in May.
With a goal against Mansfield Town in the League Cup, he’s already opened his account for the new season.
The attacker clearly knows where the net is and can score a range of goals. His performance against Palace seemed that of a player eager to fight for his place in a competitive squad.
This could be his chance to claim the shirt.
