While the New Orleans Saints aren’t exactly in a position to win a lot of games during the 2025 NFL season, there has been a lot of buzz around some of the NFC team’s top players like Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara and Rashid Shaheed about other teams potentially seeking trades for those stars.
Loyalty: Alvin Kamara said today that if the Saints trade him, he’s going to go drink “pina coladas” somewhere, per @nick_underhill

However, Kamara and Co. have shown nothing but loyalty to the Saints and the veteran running back even expressed that he would consider retirement if New Orleans tried to trade him this season. Kamara told reporters that he would prefer to go drink “pina coladas” on an island than chase success with a team not named the Saints.
New Orleans is in a precarious position though this campaign with just one win to show in their first six games, and that could present a challenge for their front office looking to acquire more draft capital heading into next spring.
