Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis would ‘potentially like to bring in’ Brendan Rodgers as manager in the long-term.
Forest currently have Ange Postecoglou in post, but the former Celtic manager is struggling having failed to win in his first seven games.
As a result, reports are already circling over who Forest could look to next if Marinakis decides to ring the death knell on Ange’s stint.
Rodgers is in the final year of his Celtic contract and 67 Hail Hail understands he and the Hoops board are not close to agreeing a fresh deal.

Rodgers to Nottingham Forest next summer?
Leaving Parkhead next summer could open the door to a Premier League return, claim talkSPORT, with Marinakis an admirer of Rodgers.
talkSPORT chief football correspondent Alex Crook says he has been told Marinakis would possibly like to hire Rodgers for the long-term at Forest.
“Brendan Rodgers is intriguing. I know it’s difficult because Steve Cooper was never really welcomed at Leicester because of the Nottingham Forest connection.
“But I am told that he’s someone that long-term Marinakis potentially would like to bring in and his contract at Celtic is up at the end of the season.”

Will Ange Postecoglou turn things around at Forest?
Forest face Chelsea on Saturday as the Premier League returns after the international break, and Ange needs a result.
At least a point would probably keep him in a job for another week, but defeat at the City Ground could be catastrophic for the Aussie-Greek.
Postecoglou is a good manager, of course, and has the ability to turn the tide in his favour if given the time.
In fact, at his pre-Chelsea presser on Friday, he insisted that his spells at every club he manages always end the same way – winning a trophy.
He said: “So we get to the current space [at Forest] where there is a different story to tell, that maybe I am not a failed manager who was lucky to get this job and instead maybe I am a manager who, if you give him time, the story always ends the same.
“At all my previous clubs, [it ends] with me and a trophy.”
