Crystal Palace midfielder Jefferson Lerma has transfer interest emerging from Turkey, with his contract at Selhurst Park set to expire next summer.
Jefferson Lerma has become a bit part player at Crystal Palace as he enters the final year of his contract. The midfielder has featured seven times in the Premier League this season but has only started once.
There was transfer interest in the Colombian during the summer transfer and now reports in Turkey claim that interest is mounting once again, as we near the January transfer window.

Besiktas weigh up Jefferson Lerma bid
An emerging report from Turkish outlet Fotomac has reported that Besiktas are plotting a move for Lerma ahead of January, after the Super Lig giants failed to sign him during the summer transfer window.
Besiktas are ‘preparing to knock on Crystal Palace’s door’ with regards to Lerma’s availability, it is reported, with club president Serdal Adali expected to travel to England in a bid to see through a deal for Lerma.
Lerma joined Crystal Palace on a free transfer from Bournemouth in the summer of 2023. He’s since made 85 total appearances for the Eagles but it’s clear that he’s steadily falling out of Oliver Glasner’s first-team plans.
The latest Crystal Palace January transfer rumours
The winter transfer window will open in a month-and-a-half and already we’re seeing a lot of players linked with a move to South London, as well as many being linked with moves away too.
Transfer interest in Adam Wharton lingers and whether or not he leaves in January could well decide whether or not Lerma leaves in January too.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are linked with a handful of centre-backs including Lazio’s Mario Gila and Inter’s Yann Bisseck, with Marc Guehi poised to leave in 2026.
And Conor Gallagher is linked with a return to Crystal Palace amid his uncertainty at Atletico Madrid.
