Enzo Maresca provided some details about the preparation for the contest with Nottingham Forest.
**Chelsea**clinched a late winner against **Liverpool**before the international break, ending a three game winless streak in the Premier League with a 2-2 draw at Brentford, as well as two red cards across a 2-1 loss at **Man United**and 3-1 defeat against Brighton. The pressure has eased off the head coach.
Time has also allowed him to gain back some players. Most notably, two central defenders are back in the mix with Trevoh Chalobah, who was serving a suspension, so the back four should not look as makeshift as it did against the Reds— even if Benoit Badiashile is now out of action until December.
A trip to the City Ground awaits in the early kickoff on Saturday, and Maresca is throwing himself into the plans to try and heap more media scrutiny on the new head coach at Nottingham Forest.
“It was a good [break], because Tosin Adarabioyo is back, Wesley Fofana is back, Andrey Santos is back, but at the same time Enzo Fernandez is out, Moises Caicedo is out, Pedro Neto is out, it's a little bit of a balance, but we're going to try our best to find the right solution for the next games.
“When we analyse a team, we try to consider everything, but also you have to go by match and understand why they concede a goal, in which moment, it's always different. For sure, with the international break, we watch all the games with Ange Postecoglou in charge.
“In terms of making changes, I think it's something that sometimes you plan, but also depends on how is the game, you can do more changes or less, especially now with the amount of games that we have from now on, we need to think about change, not only in the game, but also in terms of starting level.”
