The Dallas Cowboys are looking to get back on track this week when they take on the Washington Commanders in an NFC East clash. Dallas is coming in with a 2-3-1 record and needs a win in the worst way. However, it would appear that one of their superstars won’t be able to help the team this week, at least on the field.
The Cowboys fans are outraged after superstar Trevon Diggs was ruled out for the matchup against the Commanders

According to our very own Jackson Loschko:
During Friday’s press conference, Brian Schottenheimer told the media that Trevon Diggs suffered a concussion from a freak accident at his home but did not provide further details, as reported by Patrik Walker of the team’s website.
As a result, the All-Pro cornerback will not practice on Friday and has already been ruled out against the Washington Commanders. This is the first game Diggs has missed this season and the 23rd over the past three years.
The Cowboys could utilize DaRon Bland more on the outside, with Kaiir Elam lining up on the opposite side and Reddy Steward in the slot. Bland began the year as the starting slot corner, but with Trevon Diggs dealing with injuries, he has spent more time on the outside. Also, due to Bland missing time and Diggs being on a pitch count, Elam has started four games and played 69% of snaps. Meanwhile, Steward has carved out a defensive role, logging 157 snaps in the slot since Week 2.
