Iraola indicates why the clash with Crystal Palace will be a struggle

Andoni Iraola summarised the lessons learned from battles with Crystal Palace last campaign.

**Bournemouth**drew 0-0 home and away against the Eagles in contests that were not the most entertaining, but were reflective of the structure and organisation that both teams have developed.

Indeed, Oliver Glasner has made history in more ways than one with a savvy and talented crop of players, and the **Bournemouth**boss is heading into the fixture on Saturday with plenty of respect.

“They were not the most enjoyable games probably, but they were difficult games for both teams. I think it's very clear how both teams play. I don't think we will surprise each other.

“We do well the things we do well and they do well the things they do well. And it has been difficult, I think all the games we played against them to make the difference. But it's a big challenge also because one mistake, probably is more expensive than in other games.

“You know that they concede very little spaces. They are defending so well and they have always threats in set pieces they are the best or one of the best teams. In transitions, they are very, very good.

“I like a lot of their players. They are always a threat. I think everyone has a specific role. I could talk about everyone almost in the starting 11.

*“I think Daniel Munoz is scoring a lot of goals from the wing back position. Ismaila Sarr attacking those positions. Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada, players that are technically very gifted in the middle. There is a reason why they have the results they have and they won the FA Cup last season. And this is not just a fluke. There is a lot of work behind and a lot of quality in those players.”*
