London is about to host a billionaire collision across two continents of traditional sports when Shad Khan and Stan Kroenke face off not once, but twice, in both kinds of football within 24 hours.
Khan's Fulham and Jacksonville Jaguars will play against the Kroenke's Arsenal and Los Angeles Rams in Premier League and NFL action. The Premier League match between Arsenal and Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday will roll straight into an NFL showdown between the Rams and Jaguars at Wembley on Sunday morning.

The rivalry traces back to 2010, when Khan attempted to purchase the St. Louis Rams. That deal collapsed when Kroenke, already a minority owner, invoked his right of first refusal to block the sale and take full control himself.

Six years later, Kroenke relocated the franchise to Los Angeles, built SoFi Stadium, and cemented himself as one of the NFL’s most influential power brokers. Khan redirected his ambitions and bought the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011 for $760 million, then Fulham in 2013.

Since then, the Jaguars have played 11 games in London, while Fulham continues trying to fight their way out of the Premier League's bottom of the table.
Kroenke inherits the Walmart fortune and oversees a portfolio that features the NBA's Denver Nuggets, the NHL's Colorado Avalanche, MLS' Colorado Rapids, the Rams, and Arsenal, which he fully acquired in 2018.
Arsenal are unbeaten in seven straight and sit top of the Premier League table after falling to Liverpool early in the year.
Fulham is coming off back-to-back losses, and manager Marco Silva acknowledged having to play the game shorthanded. Key players Sasa Lukic, Rodrigo Muniz, and Antonee Robinson were all ruled out of the game.

The owners will face off in the Premier League and NFL
Hours later, the NFL portion begins after the Jaguars face the Rams at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Jacksonville has made more trips to London than any other NFL team.
Trevor Lawrence continues to play through minor soreness and will lead a 4-2 Jaguars squad trying to re-find the win column after a 20-12 loss to the Seahawks broke the team's three-game win streak.
The Rams hold a 4-2 record, and despite having a top-five offense led by Matthew Stafford, they will be without their top pass catcher, Puka Nacua.

Nacua did not practice on Wednesday and sustained an ankle injury during the Ravens game, which they won 17-3. He initially left the game to recover but returned in the third quarter, though he did not record any catches.
"He's making good progress," McVay said Friday.
"I am very optimistic about hopefully having him ready after the bye. I think it'll serve him well, and I have confidence in our other receivers to be able to step up."
