Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé should be ready to face Getafe on Sunday, according to a report from MARCA.
The player is said to have trained normally on Friday, and everything indicates that he will play against Real Madrid’s neighbouring rivals.
Mbappé had a knock on his ankle during the game against Villarreal, despite which he travelled to France to train with them and played against Azerbaijan last week. Despite scoring a goal and playing well, Mbappé came off due to a knock on the same ankle.
He then missed the game against Iceland three days later, as he had to return to Madrid to recover from the injury.
His recovery appears to have been successful, and he could lead the line from the start against Getafe.
However, manager Xabi Alonso might not want to take any risks with Mbappé, with three of their four opponents after Getafe being Juventus, Barcelona and Liverpool.
