ADAM Smith has been back in [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) training but Andoni Iraola faces a decision whether he is ready to be included in the squad for the trip to Crystal Palace.
The Cherries travel to Selhurst Park today, but they will be without winger David Brooks who picked up an injury on international duty in what Iraola said was ‘very bad news’.
But there was better news with the fitness of Smith, the right back returning to training.
Asked for an update on the skipper, Iraola said: “Adam has been training quite normally with the team and I don't think he has the rhythm still – that’s normal after some weeks out.
“But I think he could help us. We'll see today, and I have to make a decision also for the squad. But he has been training. I think he's probably not 100 per cent but quite close.”
Another player who was perhaps a doubt but not through injury was Tyler Adams.

The American opted out of the USA squad in the international break as his wife was expecting their child – but he will be available for the trip to the capital, with Iraola confirming everything had gone smoothly.
“Yes, \[he is\] available,” Iraola said.
“Very happy, everything went well. I think the most important things are these things and he has been training normal with us.
“Obviously he was out for a couple of days. He had more important things to do but has been training with us normally and probably even this break and this emotional thing that you have when these things happen.
“I think now you are more relaxed and I feel he's in a good place.”
