Filipino-American player Ron Harper, Jr. is now getting a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics.
Ron, the older brother of 2025 NBA Draft second overall pick Dylan Harper, is the eldest son of former NBA player Ron Harper and basketball coach Maria Harper.
The Celtics announced the conversion of his contract on Friday.

With this contract, Ron will also be eligible to play for Boston’s G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics, where he also signed last year before joining the Toronto Raptors.
He previously held two-way contracts with the Raptors and the Detroit Pistons, as well as their respective G League affiliates, Raptors 905 and Motor City Cruise.
According to the G League website, “Players signed to Two-Way Contracts are paid one salary for their time in both leagues. Only players with three or fewer years of NBA service are able to sign Two-Way Contracts, which can be for either one or two seasons.”
