On Sunday, Manchester United take on Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield.
Ahead of this big clash, Saturday’s edition of [Het Belang van Limburg](https://www.hbvl.be/) has a report on Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
The 23-year-old joined the Red Devils from Royal Antwerp on summer deadline day. He had to wait until October 4th to make his debut for Manchester United in their 2-0 win over Sunderland.
On Friday, Ruben Amorim was coy when asked whether the stopper will feature against Liverpool.
HBVL now report Lammens ‘will be in goal’ for the Red Devils’ visit to Liverpool. They then focus on how he’s unfazed when put under pressure.
The newspaper say the Belgian had a farewell dinner with his close friends ahead of his big move to Manchester United. His former teammate, Denzel De Roeve, took part in it.
HBVL now got in touch with De Roeve, who is currently at Norwegian side SK Brann. He’s of the belief Lammens can easily handle pressure at Manchester United.
_“On the way in the car, Senne was so calm. I asked him: ‘Aren’t you nervous now?’ He replied that he probably didn’t realise it yet, but I know him well enough. That was just an excuse for the fact that he wasn’t nervous at all,”_ he said.
_“United is one of the biggest clubs in the world and is also going through a difficult period, but if anyone can handle that pressure, it’s Senne.”_
Ritchie De Laet shared the dressing room with the Manchester United signing at Royal Antwerp. He recently explained Lammens’ preparations on match day and HBVL have relayed his comments.
_“Senne is very much on his own then. At Antwerp, he already knew very well what worked for him to get into the zone,”_ De Laet explained.
_“In his case, that was: completely isolating himself and reading a book. Or taking another look at the notebook he’s kept since the beginning of last season. In it, he notes down all the points of interest for a match, a kind of guide.”_
