Leeds United have a massive opportunity to put more distance between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone when they face Burnley.

Daniel Farke’s side are four points above the dotted line ahead of Leeds’ trip to face Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Leeds are without a number of players against Burnley through injury, with Willy Gnonto among the absentees.

Opta’s supercomputer makes Burnley the slight favourites to beat Leeds, but Farke’s men will make the trip to Lancashire confident of picking up another big result.

However, Leeds will have to do so without another first-team player.

Noah Okafor sends message to Leeds fans after being ruled out

Noah Okafor was always expected to miss the match at Turf Moor, and the summer signing has now confirmed as much via his personal Instagram account.

Okafor posted an image of himself celebrating a goal, with a praying hand emoji and a caption that simply reads: “Back soon”.

While it is unclear how long Okafor is expected to be on the sidelines, Farke will certainly want him back up to full speed as soon as possible.

Speaking after Leeds’ 2-1 loss to Tottenham before the international break, Farke raved about Okafor’s goalscoring performance and said the winger was one of the positives to come out of the defeat.

Okafor is joined on the sidelines by Gnonto, while Daniel James is another big doubt for the showdown with Burnley.
