Manchester United and Manchester City are fierce rivals, on and off the field, and this is a rivalry that does not seem to stop no matter what is done.
However, in some cases, the two clubs can come together to pay respect and to mark occasions.
One recent example of this was following the death of Ricky Hatton who was a major sportsman and who originally came from Manchester.
Following his death, the two sides held a moment of applause for Hatton showing how the two sides can come together.
As well as this, following the Heaton Park synagogue attack, United released a statement and paid tribute with the message ‘two clubs, one city’ appearing at Old Trafford during the tribute demonstrating the Red Devils’ commitment towards respect.
Now, Manchester United and Manchester City have been paired together again with the two sides’ shirts being reduced.
On Fanatics, both United and City shirts are being sold for a reduced paid as the company aim to attract more sales.
Examples of this can be seen through the official Manchester United 2025-26 home shirt which is currently £63.75 on Fanatics, less than the £85 it is sold for officially.
Furthermore, a Manchester City home shirt can be found on the platform for £59 which is less than the £85 it currently sells for officially.
As well as this, the City 2025-26 away kit can be bought for £23.75, less than the £80 it sells for right now.
However, the biggest shock may come from the reductions is the Manchester United shirt which is currently selling for £11.87.
Whilst it is not official, the shirt features the United logo and Adidas three stripes.
These reductions show Fanatics’ commitment to give fans value for money when buying shirts.
But, nothing can be declared in terms of its success so far.
