Forest XI for Chelsea match confirmed

Ange makes five changes from trip to Newcastle

Awoniyi makes first start of the season

Nottingham Forest’s starting XI for the Reds’ Premier League clash with Chelsea at the City Ground has been confirmed.

Ange Postecoglou has made five changes from the side that started against Newcastle United before the international break.

Taiwo Awoniyi makes his first Forest start of the season on Trentside, while there are also starts for Murillo, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Douglas Luiz, and Ibrahim Sangaré at the City Ground.

Matz Sels maintains his 100% appearance record in goal behind a back three of Nikola Milenković, Murillo, and Morato.

Neco Williams and Zinchenko start the match as the wing-backs, either side of Douglas Luiz, Sangaré, and Elliot Anderson in the middle of the park.

Further up field, Morgan Gibbs-White skippers the Reds and supports Awoniyi in attack.
