Adrien Truffert has settled in quickly at AFC Bournemouth, after joining them from Stade Rennais on June 16th.
The 23-year-old has already cemented his place under Andoni Iraola as he played every minute in the Premier League this season.

The left-back came up through the Ligue 1 side’s academy and spent five years with their first team before leaving them for the Cherries. They signed him to replace Milos Kerkez, who was sold to Liverpool in June.
Truffert says his family has also played a role in helping him adapt at the new club.
_“It’s going very well so far. Collectively, we’re having a good start to the season, and individually, I’ve adapted quite well to the team and the league. My wife and I are also very happy with the living environment. It’s a whole package that’s helping me settle in well,”_ he said.
He was asked whether he’s surprised with his quickly adaption to the Premier League.
_“No, because I came thinking I could express certain qualities. We also have a good team, who play, who want to press, whose style suits me. I felt wanted, I really wanted to go, I didn’t come blindly,”_ Truffert explained.
He has signed a contract until 2030. L’Equipe were quick to assume that his transfer was carried out quickly as it was completed in June.
The player says he didn’t have to rush his decision because Bournemouth had long been interested in him. Their efforts made him feel wanted and convinced him to join them.
_“Yes, we’ve been talking since last January and they were considering signing me this summer. That gave me time to think carefully and since it was my first transfer, it was an important parameter to come as soon as possible to put all the chances on my side,”_ he added.
_“I felt wanted, I really wanted to go there, I didn’t come blindly and today, it’s the best place I can be.”_
