Match Report: Watford Under-21s beat Coventry 4-1 in Premier League Cup

Watford Under-21 recorded their first win of the Premier League Cup campaign as they beat Coventry City 4-1 at Kings Langley.

Zavier Massiah-Edwards gave the young Hornets the lead in the first half, having now returned from his loan spell at National League side Eastleigh.

Amar Sanghrajka made it two before the break, before Aidan Dausch pulled one back.

The Hornets sealed their victory in the second half, though, with Raul Vancea and Amin Nabizada finding the net.

The victory moves Charlie Daniels' side up to second in the group, after they lost to Leyton Orient in their opener in September.

Blackburn Rovers lead the group and each team will play each other twice before the top two progress to the knockout stages.
