Paul Pierce Turns Heads With Bold Statement

Paul Pierce had an NBA season that anyone would be proud of, and he believes that he was one of the most effective offensive threats of all time.

Pierce recently said that he had no “offensive weakness” and even noted that he outshot Steph Curry in a three-point contest.

“I have no offensive weakness. I won a 3-point contest. Steph Curry was in the contest…Is he the greatest shooter ever? Well, I beat him. … Who’s the greatest scorer? Kevin Durant? I can do everything he can do,” Pierce said.

This is the sort of statement that will get NBA fans talking, and many of them may disagree with Pierce’s claim.

Although no one would debate Pierce’s skills, most people would loudly state that Curry is a better shooter.

And when it comes to Kevin Durant, a lot of people would say that Pierce doesn’t challenge him either.

During his 19 seasons in the league, Pierce put up an average of 19.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 44.5 percent from the field.

Since stepping away from the game in 2016-17, Pierce has stayed close to the league and has contributed his opinions to numerous television programs and internet shows.

This isn’t the first time that Pierce has said something controversial, and it definitely won’t be the last either.

Pierce was a ten-time All-Star, NBA champion, and Hall of Famer, so he had a career to boast about.

Still, a lot of people feel he’s off base with this statement about how he stacks up against Curry and Durant.
