“MFer Can’t Even Tackle the Housework Correctly”: NFL Fans Show No Sympathy to Trevon Diggs…

Trevon Diggs made two Pro Bowls and grabbed 11 interceptions in 2021. That feels like a lifetime ago. The Cowboys cornerback has battled knee problems for three straight years.

Now he’s dealing with something completely different that didn’t even happen on the field.

Trevon Diggs Suffers Concussion in Home Accident, Cowboys Confirm

Dallas head coach Brian Schottenheimer dropped the news Friday. Diggssuffered an accident at his house Thursday night. He’s now in concussion protocol and will miss Sunday’s game against the Commanders.

This caps off a brutal 2025 season for the 26-year-old defensive back. Diggs has dealt with knee issues all year long. He’s appeared in all six games but the production hasn’t been there.

The numbers tell the story. Diggs has just 13 tackles this season. Zero interceptions through six weeks. That’s a far cry from his All-Pro campaign four years ago.

His injury history makes the situation worse. Diggs tore his ACL in 2023 after just two games. He returned in 2024 but needed knee surgery after 11 contests. Now he’s battling the same knee again in 2025.

The off-field drama hasn’t helped either. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones docked Diggs half a million dollars before the season started. The reason? Failing to attend at least 84 percent of offseason workouts. Late last month, Diggs went viral for skipping the team huddle during the Packers game.

Dallas needs healthy bodies in the secondary. Losing Diggs for any amount of time hurts their playoff chances.

NFL Fans Show Zero Sympathy for Trevon Diggs’ Latest Setback

Social media erupted when the injury news broke. Cowboys fans didn’t hold back with their reactions.

One fanwrote, “MFer can’t even tackle the housework correctly.”

A secondadded, “He tried to press the microwave and got burned.” The jokes came fast and furious across Twitter.

Others questioned the legitimacy of the injury. A thirdnoted, “These guys are just finding ways to not get on the field. I don’t buy it.” The skepticism reflects growing frustration with Diggs’ availability.

Some fans used the moment to reference his on-field struggles. A fourthpointed out, “1st contact hes had all season.” The comment highlights his lack of impact in 2025.

The Cowboys face Washington on Sunday without their starting cornerback. Whether Diggs returns next week depends on how quickly he clears protocol. Dallas has to figure out life without a player who’s become more known for missing time than making plays.
