Cameron Carter-Vickers has given an insight into Jahmai Simpson-Pusey’s attitude at Lennoxtown.
Simpson-Pusey was signed from Manchester City in early August on loan for the season as Celtic reinforced their defensive options.
City boss Pep Guardiola has previously stated he is a fan of the centre-back, playing him in an FA Cup clash last season.
But Simpson-Pusey’s Celtic stint so far has been a huge disappointment because he is yet to make an appearance for the club.
Brendan Rodgers hinted that game time could be given to him after the September international break, but that did not transpire.
City don’t plan on recalling Simpson-Pusey at the moment, but it is said they will reassess his situation in January.
The youngster is fit and training, but how is his attitude given he isn’t anywhere near the starting XI?

Simpson-Pusey ‘working hard’ in Celtic training
Carter-Vickers spoke to the press before the Dundee clash on Sunday and did not have a bad word to say about Simpson-Pusey.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
The American has been impressed with Simpson-Pusey’s ability on the ball, which you would expect if Guardiola likes him.
But most importantly, Carter-Vickers says the 19-year-old is working hard in training, which is really all he can do to catch the eye of Rodgers.
CCV said: “Yeah, I think you can definitely see his quality. He’s a very good player on the ball, very tidy and has got all those qualities.
“He’s been working hard to be fair to him. So, so obviously those decisions are left down to the manager. But we’ll see what happens.”
Simpson-Pusey will do well to dislodge Liam Scales
Simpson-Pusey could probably be the best player in Celtic training every day but still struggle to find his way into the starting XI.
Such is the nature of Liam Scales’ displays this season and the solid partnership he has formed with Carter-Vickers.
TalkingPoints
Should Man City recall Simpson-Pusey in January?
The Bhoys have kept eight clean sheets this season so far and Scales and Carter-Vickers have been central to that.
As time goes on with Simpson-Pusey nowhere to be seen, City will be increasingly convinced that bringing him back to Manchester is necessary.
They feel Celtic is a good fit for him, but all the signs are saying they aren’t at the moment.
