Real Madrid Gives Rudiger Green Light to Leave

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that Real Madrid has no plans to extend German defender Antonio Rüdiger's contract in the future.

The newspaper explained that "the club's management and coach Xabi Alonso appreciate Rudiger's performance, but recurring injuries could push him to leave at the end of the season, with no final decision yet on his future."

The newspaper added that "the club intends to open the door to the departure of a number of its players, most notably Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba."

The newspaper also noted that "Austrian defender David Alaba will also leave the team at the end of the same season, with the club having no intention of offering him a contract renewal, making him more likely to leave than stay."

The 32-year-old player is attracting interest from several clubs in the Saudi League, who are seeking to sign him on a free transfer.

The German international's contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30, 2026, and the club's management has not yet received any renewal offer.
