Marinakis exited the owner's box mid match against Chelsea
The axe looks destined to swing on Ange Postecoglou after Nottingham Forest went down 3-0 at home to Chelsea and owner Evangelos Marinakis couldn't even stomach staying until the end.
A bizarre atmosphere filled the City Ground in the second half with an absent owner and a manager who appeared resigned to his fate.
The former Celtic boss has now overseen a run of eight games without a win since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo and Friday's lengthy press conference rant painted a picture of a man who knows his time could be limited.
Second half goals from Josh Acheampong, Pedro Neto and Reece James meant Malo Gusto's late red card made no difference.
Marinakis left his seat in the directors box at 2-0 after switching his big screen TV off, but will no doubt have heard the boos ringing around the City ground as Enzo Maresca's side coasted to victory despite not being at full strength.

Claims that Forest have Sean Dyche lined up as a replacement suggested the writing's on the wall for Postecoglou and Marinakis' disappearing act will only add fuel to the fire that he's a goner.
Forest fans chanted that he was getting "sacked in the morning" after their Europa League defeat to Midtjylland.
Chelsea fans got it going today, although it seems a bit long sighted given Marinakis' early exit and there could be change before Saturday is out.
