Ange Postecoglou has been sacked by Nottingham Forest.
The former Celtic manager took over from Nuno Espirito Santo after the September international break and took charge of just eight games.
He failed to win any of them, his last outing a 3-0 defeat to Premier League giants Chelsea at the City Ground.
Postecoglou was defiant in his press conference on Friday before the game, saying that if given time, he always wins a trophy at clubs he manages.
That won’t be the case at Forest as the Celtic hero becomes a free agent once again after a horrendous month or so in charge.

Postecoglou dismissed by Forest after just 39 days in post
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis could be seen leaving his seat inside the City Ground after Chelsea had gone 2-0 up.
18 minutes after full-time, the club released a very short statement on social media platform X, which read: “Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that after a series of disappointing results and performances, Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect.
“The Club will make no further comment at this time.”
