Former Celtic boss [Ange Postecoglou](https://www.celticway.co.uk/topics/ange-postecoglou/?ref=au) has been sacked by Nottingham Forest after just eight games in charge.
The Australian took the reins at the English Premier League club last month.
After failing to secure a single victory, he has been given the bullet.
It comes shortly after Forest were beaten 3-0 at home to Chelsea.

"Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that after a series of disappointing results and performances, [Ange Postecoglou](https://www.celticway.co.uk/topics/ange-postecoglou/?ref=au) has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect," a statement read.
"The Club will make no further comment at this time."
Postecoglou got the Forest job after leaving Tottenham Hotspur over the summer. He won the Europa League with the North London outfit last season.
Now out of work, it remains to be seen where the 60-year-old, who won five out of a possible six domestic honours during his time at Celtic, will end up next.
