Ange Postecoglou has been sacked by Nottingham Forest with MINUTES of losing 3-0 at home to Chelsea.
The former Celtic boss lasted just eight matches in charge at the City Ground, winning none of them and is now gone just five weeks after being appointed as Nuno Espirito Santo's replacement.
Forest fans had already had enough after chanting "sacked in the morning" following a home Europa League defeat to FC Midtjylland.
And everyone knew what was coming when madcap Greek owner Evangelos Marinakis vacated his seat in the director's box at 2-0 before the boos rang around the stadium at full-time after Chelsea had added another goal.
And the sacking was confirmed just 20 minutes after the full-time whistle blew.
A club statement read: "Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that after a series of disappointing results and performances, Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect. The club will make no further comment at this time."
