Manchester City entertained Everton at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a good start to the game, but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Erling Haaland scored a quick-fire brace early in the second half as Man City cruised to a solid 2-0 win at the Etihad.

**LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7.5/10**
He was solid when defending inside his half and managed to earn an assist as well.
**CDM: Nico Gonzalez – 7.5/10**
Gonzalez was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
**RW: Savio – 8/10**
He was a constant menace in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
**CM: Tijjani Reijnders – 7/10**
Reijnders caught the eye at times, but there was no goal for him.

He was a constant menace in the final third but failed to register a goal.
**LW: Jeremy Doku – 7/10**
Doku caused a lot of headaches for his marker but lacked the cutting edge in front of the Everton goal.

Haaland was a real handful for the opposition defenders and did well to score a quick-fire brace in the second half to help Man City earn another important win at the Etihad.
