Marco Silva notes the key difference in Arsenal’s armoury

Marco Silva shared his thoughts on the evolution of the **Arsenal**squad as **Fulham**host the Gunners.

**Arsenal**are sitting at the top of the table in the Premier League with a defensive unit that is looking as watertight as ever. But the big difference for the team this season already appears to be their depth.

With Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, and Eberechi Eze just some of their signings over the summer, the squad now equip Mikel Arteta with an even greater sense of stability to attack the year.

*“With the injury for Gabriel Jesus and **Kai Havertz**as well, I saw them play with an adaptation with Mikel Merino or Leandro Trossard like what we tried last game against **Bournemouth**without Rodrigo Muniz and Raul Jimenez. We tried to play with more of a false nine.*

*“They analyse it and of course they signed **Viktor Gyokeres**and even with injuries, they are ready to to start with a with a with a striker. About **Bukayo Saka*it is more or less the same thing and with Martin Odegaard it is more or less the same thing. They created a depth that in these unfortunate moments, they have the conditions to to handle it, deal with it in in a way to not let the level drop.

“They have a a very good squad and looking for the last season the way they increase the quality of the depth in terms of quality is I think is clear for everyone I gave you three examples.

“They have very strong squad I think is show the way they started the season well and the way in which they have been playing I think it's not a surprise for no one how solid they are with the one of the best partnerships in terms of central defenders in in Premier League and probably in Europe.”
