Bluebirds captain Calum Chambers spoke to Cardiff City TV after Saturday's 2-1 win over Reading.
City had to fight back from a goal down in the first half, but courtesy of strikes from Omari Kellyman and Yousef Salech, Brian Barry-Murphy’s side took all three points.
“It was a tough game in the end,” Calum began. “It was a test that I think we stood up to, and at the end of the day it’s a great three points.
“It would obviously be nicer to have a more comfortable win, it’s always nice to have that, but we knew today wasn’t going to be that easy. Games don’t always go the way that you want them to go, but to come out of it with three points shows the character we have and what we’re trying to achieve.
“We had to take our chances today, and we did just that by scoring two good goals. It would have been nice to kill the game off a little earlier and make those last 10-15 minutes a little easier for us. At the end of the day, you learn from these games. Sometimes you learn more from games like this than games you just cruise through. We will take a lot from it; a lot of positives, things to learn, and we will keep going.”
