Seahawks Injury Report: 1 out, 3 questionable vs Texans

The Seattle Seahawks ruled out edge rusher Derick Hall (oblique) for Monday night’s Week 7 home matchup against the Houston Texans.

Seattle also listed two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee), veteran safety Julian Love (hamstring) and backup offensive tackle Josh Jones (ankle) as questionable on Saturday’s game status report.

Hall will miss his second straight game after getting hurt in the Seahawks’ Week 5 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Witherspoon and Love have each missed the past two games. Their questionable designations are a step in the right direction, as both were listed as doubtful on last week’s game status report.

Witherspoon was a full participant in practice both Friday and Saturday. Love was limited all week.

Jones was limited in practice this week after being sidelined for the previous three weeks.

No other Seahawks were given a game status designation on Saturday, which indicates every other player is deemed healthy enough to play Monday night. That includes cornerback Riq Woolen (concussion), who was a full participant in practice this week after missing last Sunday’s Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Houston ruled out wide receiver Christian Kirk (hamstring), who was an 1,100-yard receiver with Jacksonville in 2022 before a pair of injury-marred seasons in 2023 and 2024.
