Former Colorado defensive back Shilo Sanders was in Miami house-hunting in a recent video for a his YouTube channel with over 230,000 subscribers. The 25-year-old has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since his release by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the end of preseason.
Sanders partnered with a man who went by "Ryan the Realtor" to search for units. The former NCAA star was enamored by one unit before getting anxious about the price.

Sanders, who filed for bankruptcy in 2024, pulled the realtor close at one point. "Come here real quick. Do you watch football?" he asked. "I do watch football," he answered. Sanders continued to badge him. "How often do you watch football?" he said. "Every Sunday."

The safety then got snarky. “Have you ever seen me on there?" Sanders asked. "No," Ryan the Realtor answered. "And you said this place is 5 million?" Sanders said.
"I mean, anything is possible with a negotiation," the realtor answered. "I tell them your Deoin Sanders’s son and they’re like ‘sure, I’ll give it to you for free."
Sanders admitted defeat. You know what a trust fund is… I ain’t get that," he said. Ryan understood. "So I guess this apartment ain’t happening," he said. The realtor countered with $25,000 a month, prompting a laugh from Sanders and his team.
Sanders started his NCAA career at South Carolina in 2019 before joining his father at Jackson State in 2021. After two years of strong play, the 25-year-old followed his father out the door again, this time to Colorado.
His 4.52 40-yard time improved his draft stock. He latched on with the Buccaneers during the preseason, but a critical, unnecessary roughness penalty during a preseason contest drew the ire of Tampa Bay coach Todd Bowles and contributed to his ultimate release.

Deoin Sanders, back at Colorado for a third season, expressed optimism that his son would latch on with another team. “He’s my son, and I’m proud of my kids, all of them, and I’ve prepared my kids for any and everything that could possibly happen in life and in sports,” Deion said after Shilo's release. “That’s part of fathering, that’s part of parenting, that’s part of having a relationship.”

“We’re praying that he gets another opportunity to go with a team, but if he doesn’t, the plans have already been put forward for what he’s going to do next,” he added.
“Shilo’s a man of many talents, I don’t know if you guys know, he’s a man of many talents, and he’s going to be straight."
